After dozens of attempts, the camera doesn’t allow focusing, and every decent focus has to be a foot or two away in order to get the details clear, but it rejected all the attempts, and would not allow me to upload a previously taken license photo.

This app is so janky. I consistantly have to go to the webpage to get anything done. Just now I had to get my receipt from the web instead of the app because it would only show me the receipt in the app- there is no option to download it or send it anywhere but a printer. I needed to email it- no luck. I also couldn’t get it to work when returning the van so I had to use the web for that too.

The captcha for the app is broken. Having to solve 97 captcha pictures to get a rate for a trailer is absolutely ridiculous

Do not rent from u-haul app. I ordered a truck, pads, a dolly and a furniture mover a month before needing it. I completed the on line form to be able to pick it up before hours. The day before I was to fly to Florida to pick it up they called to change the location an hour out of my way. I got to the store on time and the app made me recomplete the form. It required they call 3 people to verify my identity. I had given them my passport number when I completed the on line form but didn’t bring it with me so they had to contact 3 people by phone at 8am on a Saturday morning. Took 45 minutes to get the key. The truck was dirty including inside the cab. Inside windows were very dirty. Looked like previous renters had a dog that slobbered on them. The truck had no fuel in it. When I got to the house I opened the back and none of the items I reserved were in the truck. I had to drive to a local store to pick them up. I sent in a complaint. A person called me back and said there was nothing they would do about it as a reservation does not guarantee a truck, a location or any of the items I added. I was upset and questioned the use of a reservation. He quoted the U-Haul bible about no guarantees and when I said u haul was useless he hung up on me. I’ve tried several times to contact them again however seem to have been blocked from the on line form to file or they just make it very difficult to reach a person.

Can‘t log in with correct username and password.

I have never seen such bad customer service before. I have been waiting in front of the door for an hour and talked to 10 different customer services. and still no solution found. When I rented before, they charged me for gas even though I used too much gas. I reported this via e-mail, but they didn't even respond. I don't recommend it at all. You are living a disgrace with your own money.

Excellent customer service. Quick & easy transactions with support for any needs along with an AWESOME storage facility. Keith Putnam and his helper were very courteous. I had an appointment at 10:00 AM, arrived at 9:45 and checked in. Asked if there was a long wait, and the clerk said, one car was almost done and they would be taking my car in shortly. There is no waiting room so I had to cross the busy four-lanes of traffic to wait inside McDonald’s. I went back to the shop at noon time. My car was still not done. It was taken in at 12:30. I waited outside in the chilly weather until it was completed at 1:30. I was charged 1.5 hours at $100 an hour even though they only worked on it for one hour.

It’s completely comical and wildly unprofessional how they make you go thru 4-5 screens to check out while they try to sell you stuff you don’t need. The buttons to buy the stuff are huge and the text to skip and continue is tiny. U-Haul, U are Childish.

I booked on the U-Haul website and it said I could pick up using the app. Unless I missed it the site did not say you had to have an account to follow up using the app, I thought I could use the order number like on the online site. Nope. So installed the app for nothing and still had to wait inside the store, where their system was down.
