Also have been a prime member for some time and I was really enjoying prime video up until they put ads in every video. 1 minute ads that’s seem to happen every three minutes think it’s kind of wrong for them to put ads in their videos while also paying for my membership

This app is so annoying - whenever I try to play something I can hear sound but have only a black screen. I searched for solutions but nothing works - I am totally disgusted.
  • Paying for Ads Hinders a Great Selection

Amazon Prime Video has one of the largest and best selections of movies and TV shows I know of. I have been a prime member for years now, and all of a sudden, even after paying, I am forced to watch ads? unlocking content and avoiding ads was the whole reason I subscribed to Prime Video. Now I have to pay and watch ads for the same benefit. Guess Amazon is tight on money?

I’m not paying for a service that’s going to stick me with ads. Amazon’s money grab lost my money.

I understand the need for ads if they want to keep the prices down in this economy. That being said, the lazy way they toss the ads in really disrupts the flow of movies. You can do better than this. And if you do I will give you more stars
  • Amazon reduced the level of service by including ads

Amazon, like all big tech companies, thinks that forcing paying customers to watch ads is a great way to increase their revenue. The service that I signed up for was ad-free. Forcing me to watch ads and telling me that I can pay more if I want to receive the same level of service that I previously received is rubbish. Streaming video promised us a golden age of entertainment. Finally, customers were getting what they wanted. But just like in the case of cable TV, greedy advertising types came in and ruined the service in the same way that they did for cable TV. Now all streaming providers need to do is bundle their apps together for a single $100/month fee and we'll be right back to cable. The cost/benefit math of being an Amazon Prime member is nearly at the point of being a net loss for my household. Tread very lightly, Amazon.
