    If I could give negative stats I would. I purchased this app several years ago as a one time purchase to access Jesus Calling. Now, after upgrading my phone I no longer have access without paying a monthly subscription. I want the app that I originally purchased.

  • Greed, Ruined Jesus calling

    When I purchased Jesus Calling over four years ago. It was an individual app which allowed me to read Jesus Calling daily. It was so good that I purchased approximately 10 versions of this software as a gift for other believers. Now they have put so many things in it to try to make me subscribe to a service that I’m not interested in. Unless this is fixed immediately, I won’t have no other choice then to delete this app from my phone. Of course, I will not be recommending it to anyone else in the future. Even the Jesus Calling book has gone down in my estimations because of the present greed of this company. Please try to remember what Jesus said freely you have received freely give. Did not mind purchasing the product in the past, but the force users to have to go through the hoops just to read their original purchase is unfair and dishonest.

    I purchased Jesus Calling as an app years ago and loved having it available on my phone. In the last year or so, an advertisement for other books is now part of my purchased app and my access to Jesus Calling is now intermittent and does not set to the appropriate date. Often times I cannot access the appropriate date at all.

    I am disappointed that an app I originally paid for has changed their agreement and is charging for more. I will be deleting and unfortunately not sharing this sharing this resource anymore.

  • My previously bought app disappeared

    in 2021 I bought the Jesus Calling devotional but after my iPad had to be restored, I no longer have access to the book. I have it on my iphone but am unable to restore the purchase. Other than that, I really enjoyed using it for my devotional but am unable at this point. I have reached out but have received no help

  • App doesn’t work

    App is buggy it opens to an ad for all the other books. When I go to Jesus calling it always goes to Jan 1 no shatter what todays date is. Then I have to continually reauthorize purchase because it forgets that I paid. Stick with the physician book, the app is not fully developed.

    How horrible is it when a company makes it very easy for you to pay in and give them money but no way of contacting them if there is a problem. I purchased the app years ago and now they have added new content that they want me to pay for. It says I can continue to use my previous purchase subscriptions, but it does not work any longer continually sends me to an area to charge me $50 a year. I would never sign up for anything when there’s no way to ever cancel it.

    I purchased two books. Both prior to the option of paying for a subscription. I can fully understand an app that does not work to it's full potential when you are using the free version. I paid full print value for a digital copy. Both books worked great for two years. Then clearly the app creators weren't making enough money. Even after paying full price for the book, they want to charge a monthly subscription. Same flaw over and over. Click on today's reading and it either takes you to January first or another random day of the year. This may seem petty, but it's a real pain to exit out of the book, select library, choose the book you bought, then scroll through every day starting at January. Like others I have emailed and emailed. Their response is always the same. They tell you how to do what I described above and that they are fixing it. Then it's delete the app and restore purchase. Still, it doesn't work. I refuse to pay a subscription for a book I purchased.

    I purchased this app a while back when it was just, “Jesus Calling”. With the recent added subscriptions and memberships, it’s taken the basic functionality away, and once again, a Godly purpose, has been turned into capitalism. I’ve sent up to 5 emails to get support and the same answer is given, “Recent update should fix the issue.” Not so. If I could get my money refunded, I would remove the app and not use anymore. So dissappointed.

    I have owned several books and the app for years. Very disappointed in the new app. While I understand this is a business, you should have rolled out a different option.
