    Was good until i noticed a pattern of tips being stolen by support i addressed this and they immediately put my account on hold and say i have to pay a $100 fee for a class they say is not mandatory but to unfreeze my account i have to complete it no way around it

  • Bugs and other issues that go unfixed for months

    About half the time the app freezes up when uploading drop-off photos, and this issue has been around for months. Other annoying bugs like menus that won’t close out, forcing you to close the app. The alert sound when you receive an offer is also obnoxious. Super loud and continues going off nonstop until you accept or decline, which gets extremely annoying when you’re trying to drive or in another app.

    I was able to do Uber eats deliveries now the app wanna do planner and I’m not ever really able to get hours cause it full , this is ridiculous, this is trash app update !!!

    They don’t even have the decency to send you a refusal email. These people have undermined all of the labor laws of the United States, so that they don’t have to properly pay the people who work for them or pay taxes. This company has never made any money and this app and this service is terrible anyway. go get your own soggy Christian Chick-fil-A. Don’t make someone else wait in line and then not tip them. And screw you, Silicon Valley.

  • Odd GPS problem

    I recently began driving for Uber again and have noticed an odd GPS problem. I’ll start navigating to a location and the GPS gives me audible turn by turn guidance as you would expect. Then sometimes the audible guidance just stops and I have to follow the visual cues. This goes on, often for over an hour. Then just as suddenly, it starts up again. But it doesn’t just pick up at the point where I am — it starts dictating every turn by turn instruction it didn’t say beforehand. This can sometimes be 40-50 instructions just blurted out one on top of each other. It gives my passengers a good laugh (I call it ‘Uber word salad’). I don’t know if this is a fault of the Uber app, or in its connection to apple CarPlay, but the joke isn’t funny anymore.

    Uber takes over 50% some times from the fare passengers are paying. Cost of inflation keeps Uber corporate raising their execs and software dev salaries and cutting payouts to the drivers. Combined with cost of gas increasing, cost of cars increasing, scam reporting from passengers to try to get free trips, and just over inflation across the board, and this App is absolutely Slavery for the drives. Hard to make any money. Just pure exploitation. The only way drivers make money is by tips. So sad. Uber needs to go out of business they have no business taking so much % of the fare. They’re not the ones doing the work. Absolutely disgusting business practices.
