  • Tricked out of $99

Received email saying download free app. Next thing I know I have a $99 charge on my credit card bill. Company won’t refund because I didn’t notice their deception in time.
  • Love this app BUT

I’ve been using FIXD for years and I love it, but I canceled an in app subscription in October 2023 and they just tried to debit my account for $99 six months later when I don’t have a subscription set up. Seems sketchy. My bank caught it but wanted people to know so dropped a star off my review for that.
  • App is informative but should allow to turn off TPMS light.

The app is great and informative. I think more of the app should be free as your already paying for the tool. More simple things like TPMS should be added to allow the user to shut off the light.

The device worked to clear a couple codes, the car ran out of coolant and the scanner went with it. After canceling my subscription they still auto renewed my subscription. No harm no foul, mistakes happen they’ll reimburse me. After MULTIPLE calls they tell me they can’t reimburse me. Spend the money on a wired one.

App works well but they also sign you up for a $99 subscription even when you click no to the offer. Suddenly had a$100 charge appear in my PayPal account and am struggling to get a refund
  • Be Very Careful

This App has some questionable billing practices. Mainly the subscription price is billed in advance for the entire year! So read carefully.
  • Get one as soon as you can!

They have sales but even if it were not on sale get one anyway. You can scan your friends car and show them how sweet this little device really is!!! Now when you use it on your own vehicles is where you save money and piece of mind. You can put in your mileage and turn on alerts, it will alert you when to change your oil, and the big thing is preventative maintenance. You will realize the second time you use it, you made one of the best purchases ever!!! I used this little device a lot and not having the complete package served it’s purpose but now I am going to upgrading to get all the services!!! I should copyright this phrase, Just get it You won’t regret it!!!

I order this a few days ago and can’t wait to try it out but I don’t remember signing up for anything “Premium“ is there an extra cost involved?
  • Beware! They will auto-enroll you to Premium at $99

I’ve have an engine light alert on my 2019 Wrangler that my mechanic’s reader couldn’t decipher, so I purchased a FIXD sensor after seeing their marketing of promising grandly that the product can do just that. Whelp it didn’t. It identified three “unknown issues”. Great. But then FIXD tried to charge me $99.99 (for a premium subscription I guess?). I never subscribed to it, but I am sure they tried to slide it into the fine print. RED FLAG. So now I have a gadget that fails to do what it claimed, which I’d let slide if it weren’t for them charging me $99 subscription indefinitely without my permission. Returning the gadget.
