By Really not happy re: charge
Even though I deactivated the auto-renewal, their app re-activated it without my say so, then they charged me $35.99 and refused to refund the money even though i immediately reported the erroneous charge and did not use the app in the meantime.

App is very weak and has almost no beneficial functionality unless you plan on following the beaten path. In addition, they promised a free trial which they did not live up to and refused my immediate demand for a refund.

Put me down as another person who used to love Roadtrippers and is now disillusioned. They introduced new tiers of membership without adequately advising users — and no, an email in October with the subject line “Your membership renewal is coming up” and no mention that features will be moved to a more expensive tier is NOT adequate notice that, when the renew date rolls around SIX MONTHS LATER, all of your trips will be locked unless you cough up another 15 bucks. Additionally, the price is way out of line with the actual functionality. For sixty bucks, I expect a desktop website that doesn’t slow to a crawl after 15 minutes of use, among other issues. And if you must pay for this app, do yourself a favor and do it through the website, not through the App Store. Roadtrippers uses the App Store as a get-out-of-jail-free card to keep from having to find solutions for customers. They cannot edit your account if you pay through the App Store, and they will not be flexible in trying to work around that issue. I used to sing Roadtrippers’ praises to everyone who asked about our summer road trips. Now I’m looking for an alternative. And replanning my entire summer road trip.
  • No reminder of subscription renewal.

So be aware that you need to take YOUR time to cancel your subscription if you sold your RV as I did and don't plan on using the app. Forgot I needed to cancel a subscription I used only a few times. Poof. 50 bucks and no forgiveness from these greedy folks. This company is a template as to what is wrong with subscriptions. Just a fund raiser on their part. A simple email as a reminder would add a bit of creditablity to their business. I would pass on Roadpass or make sure you add it to your calendar.
  • Waste of money

I trialed this app for 7 days. I had some issues with plotting trips and was assured I could find off road routes. Yes, I could but it was terribly tedious. Also, we are usually away for weeks and the limited amount of waypoints is inadequate. This app is not intuitive and is difficult to use. It also does not seamlessly integrate with Campendium which is why I wanted to try it initially. They will not refund due to terms and conditions stated no refunds. They are very obstinate in this regard. I am sticking with Gaia and OnX Off-road which are more suited for our method of travel. This all is for RVs who travel highways, make reservations and dine out. Buyer beware.
  • Issues Clearing out old trips

I really enjoy the set up of this app. It’s pleasing to the eye and easy to use. But I am having issues removing old trips. They say they are deleted but they stay in the queue. Also I would like to name each trip something other than the destination.

I have no clue what this site offers. I’m trying to plan a trip to Yellowstone from Barnes, Wi and I would like to know what attractions are on our route and where to stay for connivence to see what yellow stone has to offer. When I went to Mount Rushmore this site was outstanding. Some how I paid for a renewal. So I need help and not from a long f______ email!
  • Terrible customer service

    By help here please....
The app is fine. The customer service is abhorrent. I had two accounts, one with my iCloud email and one with Sign in with Apple, without realizing it. I canceled the subscription on the account I use long ago so I was surprised when I saw a charge on my credit card from them. I emailed them about it on the same day as the charge appeared and they refuse to process a refund. Basically they’re great at taking your money but good luck if you need help from them. There’s nothing this website does that Google can’t do for you. Use the free features in Google rather than letting them steal your money.
  • This app USED to be good

It was a good value, and very useful, so I paid for the upgraded subscription with no ads. Now, they added two additional tiers, raised all the price levels and moved all of the useful functionality into the highest tiers. Shameful business model. I don’t care what they do, I’m done with this app.

Beware they don’t tell you when they are going to charge your credit card and then when they do they say well it states no refunds. Understand no refunds, DON’T understand charging someone without notice.
