    I will never file with TurboTax again. I did the option where you pay $89 for somebody to help you out. They said it was only going to be $89 and then without saying they were going to do this. They charged me to prepare my New York State tax and my Vermont state tax and charged me to get the refund back. These were things that we weren’t even discussed to me before I paid this option. Very deceiving, and I will never go with them again.

    This is horrible they messed up my taxes bad! I had to amend my return and it set receiving my taxes 5 months behind!!! And they charged me extras that I didn’t even need they did not get my full potential refund amount either I will never use them again such a joke and rip off please save your time and money!!! Run far away!

    I am Nigerian who went for student work and travel although I didn’t pay for a specialist I know I payed a sum of money to complete my tax filing faster as I wasn’t able to file until very late because the app wasn’t working for the longest time I finally filed and after two days I couldn’t log in anymore since then.

    I filed my taxes, and they got accepted, and the IRS link shows that I got my money and I never did. I also have no way to double-check that they have the right bank information (even though I know I have the right one) Also tried to file my boyfriend’s taxes with his information, and he had to pay almost $100, just for it to say that there wasn’t all the documents needed, and we never got refunded for that either. Even though he was never mailed the documents that he apparently needed. Turbo tax needs to do better and say that it can’t be completed before charging us, or at least give us the money back

    Tricks you into paying way more fees than agreed upon until after you’re done and filed and paid! Dont do it-stay away! File with someone else.

    Had to file my taxes closer towards the deadline due to technical issues, so i decided to use turbotax since i didn't have alot of time left. Not only did it force me to upgrade, but I received nowhere close to the return i was shown. Went from a $440 to an $8 return, i don't even know how those numbers even end up working but I don't really care for any excuses this company has to offer. I got my taxes done at the expense of them robbing me. Never using again.

    This year was my first time filing with TurboTax and I can tell you it will be the LAST. Last year I used H&R Block and didn’t have much of an issue, but for some reason decided to use TurboTax this year, so I downloaded the app and started filing everything. I get done, I e-file my taxes, only to find out about a day or two later that it had been rejected. I tried to fix it on my own, but to no avail, so I called customer support. They told me I was missing a form, so we figured that out, but still got rejected. Next specialist told me I was missing similar information and basically redid everything the last specialist had done for me, but still got rejected. It went on and on and on like this, all until one of them FINALLY told me I couldn’t e-file my taxes because I’ve tried to file them too many times already, something that all of my other specialists failed to mention to me. So we go through, start the process for me to file it by mail this time and now they’ve told me I can’t that until I’ve paid for a separate tier of TurboTax. At first they were telling me it could be paid for by my return, but now they’re telling me I can’t file until I pay for it out of pocket, so now my taxes are locked behind a pay wall. These people have been kind, but none of them have given me straight answers or simple solutions, but instead have made me jump through hoops as they can’t seem to make up their mind on what I need to do to file my taxes and receive my return. It is absolutely ridiculous and if this is how they treat all of their customers, then I have no idea how they’re still in business. So DO NOT USE TURBOTAX, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. They will just sit there and make you run around in circles before taking your money.
