    Ditched apples native app for overcast and haven't looked back. The functions on this app are similar to Apple’s podcast app but more intuitive and they actually work! Way better at syncing over multiple devices and downloading newest episodes.

    I really like this app, but only giving it three stars because of regular sync issues with the Apple Watch app. I just use the app to control playback on the phone, but after an earlier iOS update the volume control no longer works. I’ve sent feedback a couple times (and I do pay for the app), but there has been no response or fixes. I hope they fix this.

    I do love this app for the ability to organize my downloads into separate playlists and to list the episodes in the order I want to listen to them. Lately, however, it’s gotten so buggy that the app is constantly crashing or just getting hung up on a screen and I have to close the app and restart it. I used to recommend this to people all the time but now I just can’t because it just does not work smoothly. I see that there hasn’t been an update in months so hopefully this will get fixed in the next update. One other issue, as others have mentioned, the search functionality is terrible. I can forgive this because the ability to make lists is so awesome, but it would be nice to have a search function that actually works. I end up going to the apple podcast app to search and then coming back to overcast when I know exactly what I want.
