    Would give it a 5 but very dangerous when having to worry about fixing a freeze while driving especially on the East Coast. For the amount we pay should be working without a problem.

    They’ve let the programmers and engineers totally destroy this application. It is not worth paying for anymore. Do yourself a favor and find a different app.

    This app used to be really good, but over the past month or two there's been a huge increase of places on the map that aren't meant for trucks or even truck accessible. The map is becoming clutter in some places with random locations like storage facilities, random restaurants, and even cemeteries and rural post offices. When I asked the developer why this is happening they told me I was using the car route option instead of the truck route option. I have never used the routing option in this app so I don't know where they came up with this. They included instructions on how to change it and to make the change I have to have a subscription. Why an app made for truckers is adding car options is beyond me. What does TP offer for cars over more useful map services like Google maps? If it's for RVs/campers then the locations being added still make no sense as they usually don't allow overnight parking. I only use the app for finding truck parking and in some places there's now the illusion of there being more parking than there is because a handful of mom and pop restaurants are now "parking areas."

    I’ve never had an issue with this app in terms of what’s an acceptable route for a normal weight tractor with normal height (13’ 6”), zero issues when it comes to that. My issues are with the app itself, in a normal 11 hour drive the app crashes at minimum 3 times! I use my iPad and everything stays updated. If the app didn’t crash daily, it would be 5 stars

    I 100% stand by this app for trucking GPS., I’ve been driving trucks for 6 years been using Truckers path 100% for navigation without company supported device just this and Google maps for a second back up. Rest assured it’s solid on the east coast. I’ve been driving NYC Bronx, Long Island, NJ, Los Angeles, downtown Boston, some very tricky routes , strange fish markets etc…hard to get areas and it seriously does the trick never failed me one time. My only recommendation is get yourself a cheap unlocked 2nd cell phone, or upgrade yours and have a second device. That way your using both devices. Even a decent unlocked phone iPhone 12 is $200. That’s still cheaper then an expensive GPS like garmin. And that way it’s always real time. garmin or Rand McNally don’t operate in real time unless you pay for subscription. And they also are a pain requiring manual updates . You won’t have time to pull out your computer and be updating the device constantly. So your looking at $200 plus $9.99 a month for the basic truckers Path plan. Saves you $300-700 and it’s better . And you have a back up phone in case something happens

    To the devs directly: There is still a long standing bug when zooming out quickly that all POIs are selected until you select or remove a filter. It seems to happen less frequently now but still there. The main reason I’m writing this is when you select a location along your route and tap directions you no longer get immediately linked to use 3rd party maps. Please return this menu, the new way is extremely cumbersome. As a bit of feedback it seems that it’s a less performant. Just scrolling around and selecting locations sometimes don’t ever register. It like it’s waiting for a network response and that is overall generating a sluggishness. Before the delay that was network based that occurred AFTER interacting. Thanks for the app and all that you do. It’s a serious life saver and a must have for the modern trucking environment!
