Most other fertility tracking apps assume your cycle is 28 days long, even though 87% of women have cycle lengths that don't fit into the 28 day pattern... We understand that birth control is not a one-size-fits-all. Your cycle is unique to you! Our algorithm uses personalized temperature data to confirm your ovulation, reducing the risk of you being assigned an incorrect fertile day. My friends have been raving to me about this app and I was hesitant. I got off birth control that I have been on for 10+ years. I kept keeping track of my temperature for months before I finally got a period. I’m glad I did. It’s so nice to use this to track my symptoms and just overall how I am feeling. Also to get a somewhat better idea when I am fertile or about to start my period.

I’m not sure why this app has so many good reviews, but if you’re planning to use the thermometer (instead of Apple Watch or Oura ring), don’t bother. The thermometer almost never pairs successfully with the app, so it’s not possible to use the app for real-time monitoring of ovulation. I can get mine to pair maybe once or twice a week. It does save your temperature readings and allow you to sync the data later, which is nice, but still negates the core functionality of the product. Also, the app doesn’t understand timezones, so if you travel a lot (like I do), it will mess up your data - even if you’re taking your temperature at the equivalent time that you would at home, it will save as a different time because you’re in a different time zone. (Eg if you’re usually on PST, the app will interpret 9am EST as 9am PST, rather than 6am PST.) This has become such a frustrating part of my morning routine. It takes ~10+ minutes on the days I want to pair the thermometer.

10/10 I love the pair of the Aura Ring with natural cycles. I have had years of battling with hormonal birth control in order at attempting to balance my hormones. I have done the Pill, gotten an IUD and both ended in me gaining 30lbs in about 3months and experiencing gnarly mood swings and brain fog. As I approached getting married I wanted to have a form of birth control that I could rely on and I couldn’t be happier. I feel like I have a better understanding of my hormones and my cycle and my husband even gets involved and has learned a lot from Nautrual Cyles! If you are someone looking for a healthier alternative to birth control or even family planning, I highly recommend

I use natural cycles with the Oura ring. I like how they seamlessly integrate. Natural cycles is pretty accurate and I have learned a lot about my cycle using the app.
  • Want allergy tracking

I love this app. I give it a 5 star review because it’s awesome for just an understanding of how my body works. I get to see how my cycles affect me physically and mentally. And I get to compare each cycle. This helps me to have a real view of my daily health needs and empathy for my bad days. One thing I wish was part of the tracking is allergy symptoms, food allergy and seasonal. I’d be very curious to know if my allergy flares line up with certain times of my cycle. I do know that hormones affect allergies now. Just another way to prepare myself for the month. Also! I’d love it if I could see a symptom comparison graph for at least the past 3 cycles. This could be helpful and more efficient in tracking my health.

Easy to use, it’s been even better with the intetgration of smart devices. I have been on oral birth control since I was a teenager- this app has allowed me to come off of it and still use a reliable form of birth control (this app). I’ve been able to consistently track my cycle and log symptoms but also reliable identify my fertile window. 🙂

Stop screwing up your body (men wouldn’t, would they!?) with artificial hormones! I’ve been using natural cycles for eight years and have never gotten pregnant except when I was trying (modes can be also be switched from prevent pregnant to conceive!). It builds on methods women have been using for decades but with additional data. It’s super effective, plus it’s cool to get to know your cycle and how you feel differently throughout it each month. Best birth control method hands down!!

  • Don’t recommend the thermometer

Thermometer constantly struggles to connect. Sometimes it takes me ten minutes to try to get the thing to connect. Only get this app if you have the watch or the ring, else don’t waste your money on this “special” Bluetooth thermometer that only sometimes connects.
