  • Great on Apple Watch

    So I put this on my Apple Watch because the built-in Weather app isn’t really working well and I gotta be honest. This is really well designed for the Apple Watch although it is missing some things like why can’t it have like a mini version of the iPad view with the background, the weather and stuff like the other stuff that is visible on the circle when you open the app on iPad or iPhone. It would be a cool detail to see a background image of the weather. if you can, you can also add a mosquito index too. Just please don’t make the features. I am just suggesting limited to premium users for all you know there might be some poor guy in Florida that only has a phone and no house who wants to know the mosquito index or mosquito levels examples probably longshot, but you never know.

    Used to be the only weather app I used. Then stuff like today, were it rained for over an hour without changing from sunny. Then slightly cloudy. The entire time precipitation was 0% and we had over an inch puddle form on the road. Now they want to charge for the sea temp so just deleting. Don’t waste your money. And, finally they are trying to get 100 bucks for a year. Bye time to change apps and delete this

  • No longer auto updates location support links broken

    I’ve unhappily signed up for the subscription when they went to this model. Things worked well until a few weeks ago. The automatic location update stopped working a few weeks ago. Even when I swipe down to force it, it will not update the location. When I used the links in the app to ask about this, I get automatic replies saying the email box is no longer in use. It appears this app has been pushed out to pasture and may not be supported anymore. Looks like I need to cancel my subscription before they get another year from me.

    It’s a great weather app, but with the huge increase in annual subscription costs, I will no longer be using it. There are other weathers apps just as good for much less money.

    I really like this fantastic, useful weather app. It’s informative and usually very accurate, just as a weather app should be. But, seriously, $9.99/yr increase to $59.99/yr subscription? I hope this company is ready to lose a huge chunk of customers, because that’s what is going to happen. Buh-bye.

  • Constant bombardment to pay

    This is a review of the free app and not the in app subscription. Prepare to have a full screen pop-up window asking you to pay for a subscription constantly as you use the app. Want to zoom out on the radar, well you will have to click out of the pop up. Oh shoot, you need to move the radar slightly to the left to catch the oncoming storm, well you can see that after you close the pop up. Want see the weather in another city, you guessed it, close that pop up window first. This is is every time you do something within the app every time you use the app. And for those who don’t have the best vision, there is a little grey “X” in the top left of the full screen pop-up that you press to close out. Yup, you have to look carefully for it, the shady developers did that on purpose, to make you think your only option is to sign up for a free trial. Developers, go back to banner ads for your free models. Maybe then I’ll value your app enough to consider upgrading to get rid of them. Save your time, don’t download.

    This was a pretty good app for however many years I’ve used it, subscribed annually and paid for it. But today, a month away from subscription renewal, I get notice of a 250% yearly subscription price increase. It was a good thing at a fair price for the time I used it; disappointing that’s no longer the case.

    App does not update location!!! I have had to manually put in my location!!! I try refreshing the app & it still dont know where I am.

    $60 a year for a weather app when the Apple one is free and just as good if not better? After all these years this was an easy delete.
