  • Love But Not Reliable During A Gig

    App doesn’t work consistently during a gig performance! When system is playlimg the song it’s silence so I always have to have backup tracks. Love Karafun, just wish it was more reliable. Maybe more updates? Bug fixes? Consistent chatter amongst musicians and singers in my area!

After an accidental subscription purchase, I immediately recognized the mistake and attempted to resolve the issue with their customer service. Despite the oversight involving only a few seconds of unintended use, my requests for cancellation and a refund were met with a dismissive attitude and an outright refusal based on alleged usage logs that contradict my actions. My interactions with KaraFun's customer care were deeply disappointing. They not only refused to acknowledge the possibility of error or misunderstanding in their system but also completely ignored my follow-up communications. It seems their strategy might be to disregard customers' issues until they give up, which is unacceptable and should be a concern for potential buyers. The issue here isn’t just the $10 lost to an accidental click but the principle of good customer service, which KaraFun has failed to uphold. A company’s true measure comes from how they handle mistakes and customer grievances. It is alarming that a company would choose to ignore a customer over such a small amount, suggesting a worrying disregard for customer satisfaction and retention. Buyers should be wary—while the app itself functions as advertised, the customer service experience has left a lot to be desired. An app’s quality extends beyond its functionality; support and respect for customers are paramount, and unfortunately, KaraFun has shown a significant deficit in this area. If you ever find yourself in need of assistance, based on my experience, do not expect a fair or timely resolution. Potential customers should consider this experience a red flag. A company that chooses to ignore a reasonable request for a refund on an accidental purchase might not be the best choice if customer support is a priority for you.

    The new BETA will probably be the end of my karaoke hosting! Nothing in the new version seems to work and we have a busy weekend of karaoke ahead! They really need a customer support hotline! Anyone know of a better hosting platform, please let me know!

    I wish the app remembered tempo, pitch and lead volume when adding the song to Favorites. Then would recall the settings when playing from favorites.
