Let many federal government employees down for advocating for employees to go back to the office. This paper was not fair.

The Post has for many decades found topnotch writers. Very detailed explanations of our increasingly complex world. Great applications of new technologies.
  • WaPo seems afraid

I subscribe to the WaPo from Arizona. I lived in DC for several years and became familiar with it. I’m now discovering the editors seem to be very timid about stating anything negative about our ex-president who is on trial in NY, yet have no qualms about headlining a small suspect poll saying President Biden was too old. Where are the headlines about the positive impact happening under our present administration? It seems our media is still under the thumb of person who publicly wants to destroy our democracy.
  • Good paper and can listen to articles easily

I like the WP as it gives me great national coverage. I prefer The New York Times for international, but for national coverage the Washington Post, particularly politics, is top-notch. It has a somewhat liberal leaning, but overall is pretty even handed and truthful. I also love that the WP lets me listen to all major articles .
  • Value

I enjoy that I can make a small investment that returns so much. I cannot imagine a greater value than a subscription to the Washington Post. Several times each day, I take a break to learn about the world without having to leave my chair. Each section provides information about something worth knowing.
  • Wish it would open from email links!

Three stars because the app is very easy and nice to use but links in WaPo emails do not open in the app - they open in my browser. So why would I need the app? If there’s a way to make email links open in the app, someone please let me know!

I love having the print edition of the paper. It gets past the doom scrolling feeling of most news apps.
