    I dropped my fitness app because they moved scanning labels to a premium tier. Now lose it has followed suit. It’s heart breaking that features disappear for no good reason.

    I’ve used this app before and now all of a sudden they want to charge you for using it, so basically there is no apps anymore free to just use to count calories and what foods you eat, I don’t understand why all of a sudden there’s a charge for everything

    I have ADHD so it’s incredibly important that an app be not just useful but easy and fast to integrate into my life. This one hits on all those goals!! It only take a couple seconds to log the food you eat. The benefits of logging are profound! Not just calories but a whole host of important metrics are recorded! Another highlight is the incredible database of foods that are in the app. Nearly everything with a barcode is in the app. And almost every restaurant in the US is in the database.

    I’ve tried them all! This app is a lot better and less convoluted then MyFitnessPal. It keeps track of all of your macros & calories. Lose It! Finds all of the food you ate (including home cooked meals that are usually hard to track down) and keeps everything clean and organized. I upgraded to premium membership after a couple of weeks of using the app and I may be close to upgrading to a lifetime membership. If you want to track your calories quickly with out having to dig through countless menus and buttons within the app, Lose It! Is for you!

    So far not a fan. Hard to use for basic food additions and tracking. Hard to add foods after a meal is closed, there is no overall listing of calories used for a meal or day. Way too much exterior emphasis on “support” topics. And this is the kicker😆, I upgraded to get rid of adds and have full access to the program. Not so, there are adds, classes that are for sale, not included. I joined this because I didn’t want to pay WW monthly fees, but there is no comparison in ease of use and access to basic tracking information between WW and Lose it. Wish now I had not purchased, guess I’m stuck.

    I bought the Premium lifetime version. Although it is touted as a premium feature, this app is clearly not set up to track Keto. When searching for foods, it does not calculate net carbs. You have to pick a food before it shows you—this happens a lot because there are many inaccurate foods in the database. Other apps show net carbs in search results. It also doesn’t track sugar alcohols in foods, which makes your net carbs inaccurate when they’re used (common for Keto-friendly foods). Please fix! Better if you only care about calories. Edit: I hit my weight goal! The app switched my Goal to Maintain (cool) BUT it only adjusted my Calories up to normal. No change to Net Carbs allowed. Again, just ignoring my Keto Strategy setting. Don't say you support Keto.

    first off, every single time I open the app it says “cooking up an update-this shouldn’t happen too often”. which it literally happens every single time so that’s annoying. also the scanner isn’t always accurate and I have to edit the nutrition info manually. last thing it keeps bugging out and having errors making it so I can’t log my food. wish I didn’t purchase a whole year but oh well it’s a good basic app. will not be purchasing again though.
