  • Restricted For Unknown Reason

*Update as of 5/12/24* *After reaching out to LinkedIn via Instagram, I was helped by a support representative, and my account issues were resolved. I appreciate the help, but I hope that no similar circumstance occurs in the future.* I recently joined LinkedIn due to potential employers requiring prospective team members to have an account. At first, I enjoyed being able to access a platform to connect with other professionals. However, my account was recently restricted, and I have no idea why. After being automatically signed out of the app, I was prompted to verify my account, which I thought was optional. During the first verification attempt, I wasn’t given the option. During the second and subsequent attempts, I received the error message: “You have reached the maximum number of attempts. Please try again later.” During other attempts, I couldn’t get past the error message: “Your noCAPTCHA user response code is missing or invalid,” when I know for a fact I passed that part. This is extremely frustrating because a user has to sign in to access customer support help, but my profile is not even visible to the public anymore, and I cannot get into my account. This seems to be a common problem, and I’m upset because this issue may have cost me a great job opportunity, simply because HR won’t be able to access my profile. I need access to my profile asap, and I appreciate any help you can promptly give.

As someone who’s trying out their paid premium features, I think it’s unacceptable that there’s no way to turn off spam from showing up on your feed. I’ve missed out on quite a few opportunities and posts from people in my network saying that they’re hiring. Yet, even as a premium user, I don’t see these posts, because they’re buried in spam. When I tried to contact support about this to see if there’s a way to turn this off, she just copied and pasted a support article in the chat that I had already read. Completely useless. Uninstalling, and I will not be renewing my premium membership.

I have been using the app since day one, lately, iPad app is highly unstable isn’t working seamlessly. Thinking twice before subscribing to premium services due slow features and performance.

I get bombarded with jobs that are available so I finally go to apply but the option of applying via LinkedIn is no longer an option so I have to manually fill everything out from scratch. And I copy and paste my LinkedIn URL and get and error message that the URL is invalid. Seriously?!
  • The app posted without permission

I have not opened LinkedIn in over a month and I have notifications of people liking my post from a few days ago. I did not post anything nor did I receive anything asking me if I wanted to make the post. Disappointing that an app that is a place for people to connect in a professional environment is so unprofessional.
  • Where to start?

First: it’s $70 a month. For that much, it should work. It doesn’t, and if you try to get support, there’s no phone number. Or email address. Or even a way to respond in the chat (it turns responses into posts for your whole network). Also, all of my LinkedIn “I want to connect” emails have been coming from the same member of my network for months. I like Barb, but she and I connected years ago. “Barb wants to connect” is the notification for literally any new connection. What an insane mess.
  • LinkedIn Is a Microcosm of Whsts Wrong With America …

This Leftwing Organization is against Free Speech and silences those who don’t agree with their Marxist Ideals. It’s a shame that Marxist and Communist work out in the open as LinkedIn does and continues to do.
