  • Complete scam

Linkedin is a complete scam. Most of the jobs are fake postings. I have never gotten a job through Linkedin. The only thing it has boosted is the number of scam calls and emails I get. I also have multiple people come to me saying they have a job offer when all they just want is to pay them hundreds of dollars for a bad resume rewrite.

I am compelled to share my disappointment regarding the handling of my account restriction issue. Despite diligently providing all requested personal information, my account remains inaccessible, leaving me frustrated and dissatisfied. The inability to access my account after complying with your verification process reflects poorly on the level of service provided by your company. This situation has caused significant inconvenience and frustration on my end. Regrettably, this experience has left me with a negative impression of your company's customer service and account management processes. I hope to see a swift resolution to this matter to restore my faith in your brand.
  • Skill limits, and skills in job posting.

Recently the max skills was updated to 100, however still that limit is bit enough. Why you could ask? Because job postings and skills did not match!!! As an example if a job posting requires Business Intelligence and you have Business Intelligence (BI) for LinkedIn are 2 total different skills. If you have Business Intelligence skill that have endorsements that were given years ago and today completed training that indicates the skill is “Business Intelligence (BI)” there are no option to consolidate them. Also based on LinkedIn job posting that applied I saw one same skill wrote as “Technical Specifications”, “Tech Specifications”, “Technical Specs”, etc. and depend on what have in your skills will match or not with the job posting. So please improve the skills section to use a matrix of synonyms that match with match with the skill, and/or increase the skill limit.

LinkedIn is fantastic, however there has been a troublesome programming bug over the last two weeks that has not been addressed. When the profile of a member is open, an error message is received when pressing on the groups in common link. Thus it is impossible to see all the groups that a member belongs to that I belong to. I would greatly appreciate if this issue could be resolved. Thank you.
  • LinkedIn has lost its value.

My account was hacked and someone changed my name and wrote ooo laaa laaa on my title. I was notified. Immediately signed out and initiated 2FA and password changes. But even after I am unable to disconnect a login from overseas. No matter what I have done including deleting app. Previously to April I was a premium member again last year. But their service is basically nil !! Can’t even speak to an agent or get help. Even when LinkedIn was hacked try to get help! Mostly trolls and sales with a minimal value of community. Job references are not what they were my friends tell me. LinkedIn learning also has decreased its value with minimal content. LinkedIn. Please listen. Hire staff as real humans are needed to create value to those who need assistance.

LinkedIn used to be a place where you would find almost entirely relevant professional content. It is now full of recommended influencer posts that you can’t filter out. So sad.
