  • Good app but you need a subscription

It’s a good app! It makes it really easy to learn sign language and it’s so fun. The only down side is you have to pay to do other lessons. I’m sure it’s worth the price but I don’t need sign language so i personally wouldn’t buy a subscription, but if you need sign language to communicate to others it’s definitely worth it

I’ve tried several times to learn ASL and failed. I think with this app, I will finally succeed it makes it fun and easy and it seems to be sticking in my brain. You won’t be disappointed.

I downloaded (free) because some deaf creators I follow recommended it. I’ve been sitting here for almost an hour and don’t want to stop. I love the teaching style and the different payment options available after the first lesson. I wanted to start learning ASL as a resume builder through college but I’m staying because of how fun and accessible the language is, especially for autistic people. I am going to recommend this to absolutely everyone.

This app makes it very easy to learn ASL if your a beginner like me. It teaches not just the signs of ASL but how it has different grammatical rules just like any other language would. Very much recommend.
  • My father is deaf we needed to learn asl

My father has been partially deaf all my life, I can hear, we have always been able to communicate well through lip reading and speaking clearly. He has totally lost his hearing and we needed a better way to communicate other than just texting, and so far this app has been incredibly helpful. I look forward to learning how to speak using asl. This really needs to be taught in grade school so everyone can use it to communicate.

I’m a young learner that works well with both verbal and visual learning. I also don’t have money to be paying for a subscription. While I understand asl is silent it would not be harmful to verbally speak or show how to position our hands, which is something I’m having trouble doing for some of the moves, I’m unable to see some of the motions. I’ve wanted to lear asl for a while, especially since I’m going into the food industry but this app is more difficult to use and to expensive with everything else I have to worry about .
  • Meh

So it’s great and easy to understand but it costs MONEY after a couple lessons, I’m kinda confused as to why some lingvano ads encourage people to learn but if you were like a kid or something and don’t have access it kinda defeats the purpose of “accesible”
  • Already learning so much

Even after a couple of lessons, I could start to understand and absorb ASL! A friend posted a video online and the learning I got from Lingvano had taught me half of it. The other half, I was able to more easily learn because of the foundations the app taught.
  • Great! But formatting could use some work

I love this app but it’d also be cool to have each of the vocabularies you learn for each unit/lesson to be separate in the Trainer section. I’d want to practice vocabulary for certain units/lessons instead of doing the entire vocabulary I’ve learned. Thanks, awesome app!

I have it in turtle mode and they’re still signing too fast. I can’t keep up. I’m struggling to follow along. I’ll probably drop the app once my subscription is up because I’m getting super frustrated with it. “Normal mode” literally looks sped up!
