I’m on sort of a Mediterranean diet and would love to see that as a meal plan option… with the ability to exclude allergies like shellfish. I suppose it’s nearest the DASH option but, yeah. Or, even the ability to construct a my own menu for the week in advance and build a shopping list too; that would be phenomenal. Otherwise, I think the food entry section has a few kinks; specifically the serving type, unit & size area… Entering a single serving of creamer for example, I had to add in the title that meant just 2 tablespoons as tablespoon wasn’t a unit option… I also don’t think I saw pounds and fraction of pounds for meats? Most everything was in grams on the list which takes a lot of time for me to do the conversion per meal. & for me the barcode scanner rarely works and searching seems to yield wild results. One example being broccoli; I got a match with the barcode but the data wasn’t accurate to the nutritional label. The ability to clear items from recent foods list or at least make it so they don’t repeat would be great too. Otherwise, so far so good!

Had for couple weeks Can’t see days or progress of weight. Just a line and todays current weight. Really hard to log meals with serving size on one screen then have to choose measurement on next so I have to go back and see how serving size is measured then find matching measurement. Way too long so now gave up logging unless I have a huge chunk of time to do all day. I wish I had only done a 7 day trial rather than a year I do not believe I would renew this subscription.

Says it’s free but it isn’t!!! I signed up and it offered a free 3 day trial. I immediately cancelled the app but was still given the option to use the free trial. I DID NOT USE THE TRIAL. I have been charged $14.99/month for the past 4 months. I am not enrolled in this app but am still being charged. I have looked to find a number, email, etc to get in contact with the company to fix the issue. I have been unable to find any information to contact them. STOP CHARGING ME FOR THE SERVICE!!
  • So far, so good

I just started using it, but so far I really like it! It’s also very convenient which is a plus! The beginning of it alone was fun to kinda see how you will possibly look for your goal weight and body type. Im definitely going to put this app to use!

No trial period. That should have been my first clue. After paying $19.99 really tried to make it work. I lasted a week. Barcode scanner difficult, didn’t focus on barcodes. i would have to move the phone until it would focus close the ap and open it without moving the phone else it would lose focus and not capture the item. Food diary wasn’t very comprehensive. There are better aps for the same price WITH a trail period. Not intuitive for regularly logged food. Favorites are listed in the order you added them so for daily morning coffee you have to scroll to the bottom of the list etc. every morning.
  • Simple app, poor database and terrible scanner

I was looking for an alternative to what I was using and unfortunately purchased the premium before really testing thoroughly. The interface is nice and simple. It got me focused on protein which helped a lot, but the food database is severely lacking. Too much time searching for foods that are common and should be easy. The final straw for me was the barcode scanner. It’s never worked. Very disappointing as I’m always in a hurry and on the go and I wouldn’t have purchased the app if I knew the barcode scanner didn’t work. I downloaded myfitnesspal, easily found the foods I was looking for, scanned a barcode and promptly deleted this app. I wish I could get my money back as I’ve not even been using it a month!!

Advertise as one thing but it is like fitness pal paid 20$ for the year and it’s the exact same thing like the free version I want my money back
  • Love it but recipe building needs improvement

I have had this app for over a year and have lost 50 pounds so I really like it! But one thing I wish it had (unless I just have missed how to do this) is when creating a recipe that I can add to the recipe how many servings. For example, it calculates the entire recipe and then gives one serving as the total calories for the whole meal and breaks down to jus 1/4, 1/2 serving etc. but it’s doesn’t allow me to put in 12 servings for example, and then divide the whole recipe by 12 to be able to add the calories and nutrients for what you actually ate. So for now i divide it myself and add the calories manually.

For $20 a year it’s not bad. The biggest shortfall of this program is not a full nutritional or macro picture. I would like to see full nutritional values for each meal, not have to pull up each individual ingredient that I recorded! Navigating is a little clunky. On the upside, I have not had any issues with scanning barcodes as many other reviewers have expressed. Developers can do better and should.
