Vixer – Video Editor & Maker

I find the app to be pretty basic. Compared to other apps, I find it. It is missing a lot of features.

I run a small business in Montana. Vixer has been the perfect tool to enable me to make small reels for my social media platforms. I would highly recommend this app

I love this app. I can’t have a cap cut so this is a great backup. I love how you can import the audio and I think there is a lot of options for filters, fonts, etc. Theres just one thing, the membership. Now I would just screen record my video instead of buying a membership but there is a huge VIXER logo when I do that, I would buy the membership to have access to more and be able to save my videos but I’m not huge on monthly payments. I think if you do a one time payment A LOT more people would buy, and it would be a lot better for a bunch of people. I doubt anyones gonna see this, but thats just my opinion. We love using Vixer! Being a small company and not having a huge budget vixer allows us to post like a pro!

The app itself is alright, I didn’t get the premium deal cuz I can’t afford it. It has select songs for you to choose from for the videos, but you have to get premium to download any others. Doesn’t let you save to photos unless you get premium, and if you try to screen record your video they put a watermark over the video. Bottom line, they don’t let you do much without making you pay.

So easy to make videos with my photos for my business!

Ive had Vixer for a couple years now. I used it to edit videos for my social media accounts. More especially for my recipes for my vlog. I purchased the plan “yearly” vs the “monthly” fee one. If I was asked to write a review about 3 years ago, I would have put 5 amazing starts. But unfortunately About a year ago i suddenly could not access any content on it that i had edited, i could not access photos/videos, and could not edit any of my content. This was very depressing to me as i promoted this app to every other content creator, not only this. But I purchased it for the years & could not access it or use it. So I missed out of not only my money but the access to all my old videos & I could not edit any of my recipes at all, this led me to have to go purchase a different app (more money) . I had no way to contact customer service to see how I can get access to it, I lost a years worth of edited videos that were being edited still in the app that I could not access. In order to access the app, I had to reset it. Which led to it deleting all my content, all recipes I had edited in the past years were gone. No content created wants to loose any edited videos that they put hard work and effort into. I have gained access to it again after resetting it, (but it wiped everything completely, I lost ALL files & ALL edited videos that were still pending to be posted) I had to figure this out on my own , because again no customer support available. But definitely will not be editing any important videos on this app in case that happens again and I’m unable to access them. But I will not be using it after this year ends. I lost all my old edited videos, and lost videos that held sentimental value to my vlog. This is unfortunate.
