I really liked the Wanderlog app for my last trip. I went with a travel agency group but I copied their literary into Wanderlog. It took over an hour to search and select all the sites for the 19 day trip but it turned out to be well worth it. The best thing about Wanderlog is the thumbnail photos of the sites. The travel company used phrasing like, “view the house of bones, or pass by El Retiro Park” and without the pictures, I would not have known what I was looking at from the bus as we drove by. The ability to add notes is a bit cumbersome but was invaluable. We added notes to get coins for doing laundry and marked the day we planned to do it. Each morning I checked my notes for reminders like “modest clothing for the Mosque”. I wish the travel agency would make the itinerary in Wanderlog and just share it with the group. That would have been ideal!

I love this app! I have been looking for an app like this for a long time. Before, I had to create several spreadsheets, one for each aspect of my trip (itinerary with dates; notes for each site to visit; amount of time and miles between sites; whether driving, walking, boating, flying, or using metro train or bus; websites for each place; cost and whether my tickets were already purchased; my confirmation numbers, etc.) and then creating a route for each day on Google Maps and saving it so I could access it later, quickly. The one thing that I have noticed that needs tweaking is the mileage. Your mileage from place to place is not accurate; at least, it's not the same as what it shows for the same route on both Google and Apple Maps. Thanks so much. You have made my travel planning so much easier! I can't wait to put it to use for our first trip to Europe (Germany, Switzerland, and Italy).

Wanderlog is a game changer! I used to use Google Docs to plan trips with family and friends but now we use this app. Being able to have all of our plans and reservations in one place with the ability to see it on the map made our trip so seamless. We used it for a two week trip for multiple locations in Europe and it was so helpful! Will be using it again!

I love this app and will continue to use it in the future. I love that you can access and edit info in a browser as well as on the app. Adding others to the trip is super helpful. Check this app out, you won’t regret it!

One thing about me…….I hate downloading new apps. Yes, even in 2024 I’m skeptical of new digital tools, cautious about phone bloat, and especially as a type-A travel spreadsheet planner I wasn’t sure what Wanderlog could do for me. But ah, I’m so happy to be proven wrong. I used Wanderlog for the first time on a recent trip and was thrilled by its functionality, design and how it anticipated my needs. I was happily surprised it works on desktop too, which is where the bulk of my pre-planning happens. The app was far superior than any of my spreadsheets when it comes to on-the-go referencing, mapping, and rearranging of itinerary. I used the free version and it met all my needs! If I hadn’t gotten an eSIM perhaps I would’ve considered upgrading for the offline version, but it wasn’t necessary this time. I loved the budget section and used it multiple times a day to track purchases. A few small suggestions: I’d love if I could “star” currencies. I toggled between 2 during my trip depending on how I paid, and each time I had to scroll through the whole list— would be cool if it was 1 step less. I also wish there was a default option to tag every entry with the date I submitted it— I tracked expenses as I went, so the day was always accurate. But it was too many steps when I was on the go, to manually enter the date. Bc of this, I couldn’t use the bar graph option that breaks down costs per day. Anyway can’t wait to use this again for my next trip!

This app is so convenient. I use to use spreadsheets to organize travel for our channel, TV Travels on YouTube. Not only does this app organize everything for you, but it also recommends places to visit, eat, drink, stay, you name it! Plus, I can upload all of my itinerary in one place and their maps are so helpful. Worth every penny and some!

I appreciate what they’re doing and it’s so close to being great. But it really does not work well with travel that is not “traditional” with hotel/motel/inn stays. Struggles to add Airbnb, VRBO, or other places that don’t have a “key” word in the name. The email sync also does not really find reservations intuitively. Again the email title has to have those key words in the title for it to get found and be allowed to link to a trip. I’m ending up doing a lot of manual entry of copying & pasting and writing from scratch instead of linking emails. It also does not recognize a “cruise” as a trip or any kind of travel-related event. Same with dinner reservations for a city I’ve created a trip for. Again it would be a lot easier if it could load the cruise itinerary automatically but the app’s idea of travel is limited to “hotels”, “car rental”, “flight”….I want to like this app but it is less helpful than it could be.

I never write reviews but this is the best app! Easy to understand and customize. My favorite part is the ability to easily delete items, create list categories, day plans, timing plans, but most importantly being able to visually see the map!!!

Was able to add a lot of recommendations I found online and plan my days/route from there. App even pointed out things I couldn’t do because of the day the business is closed. You can add all your booking info and hop right to the websites for businesses. Great travel tool!
