after 250 deliveries, I'm really disappointed with the app super buggy loss of lotta orders because the app being slow and not opening when it needs to and overall the app is trash, but Dasher support is really good and the pay app is okay The biggest problem I've had with the DoorDash app so far is it glitches and opening and not wanting to let me except the orders like just let me work. I thought that was what we were supposed to be doing really hope the bugs get fixed.

DoorDash just gets worse and worse. I think most drivers probably lose money working for DoorDash. You’re lucky if you average $14 am hour not including gas or mileage to your car. Yesterday I made $11.

Im a good dasher all 4 categories always green my problem is this app will tell you that somewhere is busy and leave you to sit in your car for an hour without a single offer instead of telling you that there are no more orders its happened on multiple occasions ill drive from hot spot to hot spot not receiving a single offer in a “busy” zone it needs to be fixed. Not only are they wasting peoples time but gas is not free nor is auto maintenance. On the other hand when it is busy and things are working optimally you cant beat driving around picking up food as a side hustle.
  • Stop Hiring New Drivers

The market is over saturated. Start paying drivers fairly and they’ll pick up the orders that sit. Don’t bring in new drivers to fix the problem. That’s greedy and crooked.

I have attempted to sign up for doordash numerous times over the years with no luck on this app. I always get to the background check portion, which prompts me for more information, but when I click the button to provide that information nothing happens. Like I said this is an issue that I have had for years. I have deleted and redownloaded the app multiple times but I always have this same issue and there seems to be no way to fix it.

DoorDash is a good app for customers but Dasher?? Is horrible.. don’t waste your time trying to make money with this one.. is not like others where you can work whenever you want.. it has a kind of schedule and must of the time is full of what they call (dashers) so you can’t work until who knows.. I called to customer support and they can’t fix anything. Supposedly as a new dasher you have the possibility to work whenever you want for a week or more but I had only 1 day and I don’t have that option anymore. I don’t have space on their schedule either.. So??

I’m an 8 year delivery driver between all the popular companies and Doordash, by far, treats their drivers the absolute worst, and it’s not even close.

I spent years doordashing. I was deactivated for an arrest that took place YEARS before I started doordashing. I guess I wasn’t too scary to deliver food during 2021, 2022 and 2023 but this year I guess I am.

My main gripe with DoorDash (DD) is that they seem to be doing their best to make it a normal job and not a gig type job. When I signed up it was all “Be your own boss” and “work your own hours”. This is almost never the case though. During peak hours you can usually press “Dash now” and start getting some deliveries. More often than not though, you have to schedule a week in advance and this seems to be a first come first serve basis, or it may be too dashers get first access. So planning a week ahead almost never has good hours available. They also lull you into a false sense of security. Your first week they give you “top dasher” status so you can Dash Now whenever you want. But if you don’t do enough in that first week to maintain it, it goes away and you sometimes have to take some terrible orders for the sake of metrics. If you need DD as a full time job, you can probably make enough and do enough to keep top dasher status (though the is has now changed to a more difficult “tier” system), but for part time gig work to make a Little extra money here and there, it’s not at all worth it.
