Dreame - Read Best Romance

This app gets expensive. When you start they offer you so many price cuts on books. As you stay and read more those options dry up. The have alot of unfinished books so that's a waste of money as well.

I wanted to like this app but I just paid $4.99 to only read a few chapters. I could pay double and get a physical copy of a WHOLE book. It would be a lot better if the amount they charged for their “coins/tickets/tokens” was able to buy the whole book instead of a few measly pages.

I fear reading finished books because so many writers drag out the story for the sake of making money that with how expensive the stories are you waste about $10 for 10 chapters only to find out you have paid $40 to get 40 chapters in and nothing new or interesting happens. The least they could do is let us have an ignore button so we can sort out writers who do this or refund us if we waste credits on a story we never want to finish and permanently remove it so we never accidentally read it again.

Said free to read online it’s not free so I bought 1000 coins to pay for the chapters of the book and low and behold it took my money and gave me no coins 👌 not impressed and I couldn’t find anywhere to reach out to support

Your $ does NOT go very far, and I’m not convinced a second of effort was put into editing. The stories/books are riddled with various errors, to the point where it’s hard to read and even follow along. The writing is mediocre, at best.

This app is honestly so gross how they give you access to books. You’re paying by the chapter through coins for essentially, a rough draft. Some of it reads like AI wrote it. They are so many grammatical errors and lapses in common parlance that it seems like it was automated and rushed. It’s like no one proofread before publishing. I basically paid $9.99 to access half of a terrible book and then was asked for way more ($24.95) than the book is worth to finish the additional chapters. They know readers love finishing a book and uses this to squeeze more money out of you. That is predatory and bad for consumerism which is why you’re better off going to traditional bookstores or with reputable publishing and authors who care about their craft.

I’m deleting this app due to not gettin coin or there not adding up or your coin expires before you can use them but the story are amazing to read when you are able to read.

This was my first ever app to start novel reading on my iPhone. I discovered it by pure accident or fait. I was searching for a book from a game, and came across this app because the story had same title. I downloaded the app, started reading and now the author of this app became my forever favorite writer. I was never into werewolf theme, but thanks to Norisha May, I became a big fan. Though I can’t say I managed the app without any issues. I downloaded it around March of 2024 but soon after they made an update which was a bit of relief to navigate around it. Cons & Pros 1. I like the daily reward point accumulation. If you login daily for a month, you’ll receive points to continue reading for free which break down in like 3 stages for greater rewards. Once month ends, it starts to accumulate from day 1 again. Other apps have very few daily rewards which don’t accumulate as fast so you still end up spending $. I don’t mind paying for a good novel and this app offers 20 chapters per paid package of $9.99 which is good enough to delve into the story line to see if your interested to continue reading on. I can reassure you that other apps only open up like 3-5 chapters at a time which is annoying. 2. I like that Dreame is compatible with multiple platforms where you can read on screen text in phone or tablet within the view parameters, where’s some apps don’t have that option. 3. Screenshots - readers beware, this app forbids screenshots. Not that I mind, writers content is licensed & belongs to the app so making screenshots prevents from stealing. However, I have my screenshot setup on a tap at the cover (double tap) so it’s faster. But a bunch of times either my kid grabbed my phone or I ended up tapping quick screenshot by accident, so I ended up on my last warning notification!!! Don’t know what will happen should I exceed my limit. I ended up removing double tap screenshot property for this app to keep working. And just in case I switched to my iPad so I don’t loos my precious novels. 4. Moon ticket ranking - as far as I’m able to guess how the moon tickets work, they are sort of a “review” of a certain novel though your not actually able to leave a novel review after completion. I honestly have no idea how these tickets accumulate but I figured they are book ratings for good or bad story. So for example say a novel has 90k reads and 300 moon tickets vs a novel with 300k reads & 20 moon tickets = the last one is most likely not a good book. 5. I’d rather prefer a 5 star rating system as most of the apps offer because some content on some apps is just so raw or poorly translated that I ended up basing my next preference per readers reviews. While this app doesn’t offer book review you still able to comment per/ea chapter & communicate w/the author. They do make edits & fix spelling or name errors. 6. The app update in March of 2024 completely reconstructed the app appearance but sometimes it’s still difficult for me to leave the book to read it’s summery cuz it’ll just scroll pages if you move around your cursor. All in all apart from inability to leave a novel review I actually like this app so I’m sticking around. I’ve read some really good novels and I have a few favorite authors.

They swindle money with fake notices. Bought “coins” and got a pop up that WiFi wasn’t working and purchase did not go through, but it did. It pops up every time so you re-buy coins again.

don't even bother starting to get hooked on a story... this costs i swear an arm and a leg when it should be free... make it easier to get coins and please make the stories/chapters cost less.
