EDIT. Again: So the developers have removed just about everything that made this app/service almost worthwhile. If you look under “in-app purchases” on this page, you may notice that the “lifetime subscription” is no longer available. I suppose it always comes down to money. First, they removed the number of boosts you get each week with the gold tier (which the lifetime subscription was); not a big deal, I didn’t use them anyway. Then they changed the reporting page to make you essentially sign an affidavit that your report was truthful; not sure what that’s supposed to accomplish? Are people submitting false reports? I sure do see a lot of dudes well full beards and shirtless pics saying they’re trans women. Interestingly, none of these profiles are ever verified, a security feature which was the reason I chose to subscribe to begin with: security. That’s gone now. Don’t even get me started on the unicorn hunters and social networkers. But the real problem is removing a feature they called “Taimi Explore” which let you view profiles in other locations (ah, forgot to mention, you can’t view anyone’s location unless you turn on location services, which I also disagree with). I digress. Taimi Explore used to be included in the subscription but now it’s another charge. I’m sure some will argue that companies have the right to change the terms of their service, but the counterpoint to this is known as “grandfathering”, and you can google that. Perhaps that is why the lifetime service is gone? Point is, getting rid of lifetime subscriptions so they can add features as optional purchases is one thing; changing features that were once included in the service (which was already paid for) and then wanting to charge you again? Unacceptable. I know it’s kind of a small thing but the newest update made it so none of the iOS auto punctuation or keyboard switching functions work. It’s minor but inconvenient, and honestly, how even did they do that? That aside, the app itself isn’t terrible compared to others. I seem to have significantly fewer issues with people outside my target market (so to speak) trying to match with me. Edit: bro…if I turn off notifications, I don’t need or want a reminder to turn them back on every time I open the app or try to message someone. Let me clarify: when I turned off notifications in the app itself, it displayed a banner every time I tried to message someone. “I’ll try turning off notifications for the app in my phone settings”, I thought. Yeah no. Now I get a banner to turn them back on when I open the app. “Never miss a match”. Man, how about you let me worry over whether I miss a match or not? Cool?

This is the dumbest app I do not recommend downloading it unless your wanting to get disappointed

Just a money scam. Pay for this and that to get a response

this app used to be great, used to be able to go live, join group chats etc. now you have neither one, on top of that making users pay for every little thing. This app has become garbage, I mean straight garbage juice, whoever decided to change everything should definitely be fired, or eat a tide pod. There will be no taimi within the next 1-2 years bring the old features back .

You don't get likes like every other app. You get "actions" which really means you're only looking at 250 profiles before you can't swipe. Also for some reason blocking accounts counts as an action which is dumb because you can get harrassed until your actions come back. On top of that you will see profiles you are not interested in numerous times which is taking away your actions. This app used to be so much better with live streaming and it was more than a dating app... It was a community. Taimi successfully sold that community out in favors of chasers and trans fetishizers. This app is honestly a dumpster fire now.

Every time I try to open the app, it’s just a blank screen. I got it to load once before it forced me to update and started doing this

absolutely hate this app & others like it . to charge to see who likes you and to charge to read/send messages is just insane . nobody should have to pay to find love idc what no one say .

They now mainly cater to straight couples who are looking for a third. I’ve had this app before few years back and it was never like this until I re-downloaded it. I’m tired of finding street people on here who were trying to get a third. So no, this isn’t an LGBT+ app anymore.

My biggest issues: 1. Will flood you with notifications of likes that you cannot get rid of unless you pay to look at them or match with those people. 2. Despite your own age filters, most likes will be way out of the age range you set. 3. Distances are not helpful and do not tell you how many miles, and will frequently show people across the country
