  • Never works

We have the Rest+ 2nd Gen and can never get it to connect to the wifi. They will say its WiFi, but every other device connects to the WiFi without any issues. We also can’t get any help on this app, always directed to a computer and never a person.
  • Don’t appreciate the marketing

I enjoy my Hatch sound machine, but don’t love that it requires an app. What I don’t appreciate even more is that I’m being marketed to through this app. “Happy Mother’s Day! Treat yourself to a Hatch+ subscription.” Nothing makes me feel more appreciated as an overtired mother than a reminder that I’m contributing to your bottom line.
  • Genuinely not worth it

This app has only been added frustration. I advise anyone who reads this to take this as their sign to not get this product/ app
  • Update essentially bricked device

Terrible UI after update. Absolutely incomprehensible and now it purposely complicates tasks (by intentional design!) in order to make you update and subscribe for basic functionality. Terrible company to pull the rug and dupe their customers like this. They’ve insidiously done this on purpose. Says a lot about their values to be this greedy on top of an already expensive piece of hardware. I can no longer recommend this company and will let all of my fellow pregnant friends to take this off their registry. My friends, please be proactive and warn our fellow mothers and sisters about this predatory company!!
  • Needs HomeKit support

Would be nice if it worked with honekit like all my other smart devices. Needing a dedicated app just to turn the machine off is a drag.

Very disappointed. We ordered the Hatch 2 as a baby shower gift and had difficulties getting it setup because it wouldn’t sync to internet. We figured it was a faulty product so we returned it and had a new one sent that had the same issue. In doing some research, there are NUMEROUS message boards of people who have the same problem with it not syncing to internet. Some people were able to get it to work but most could not. It’s a nice looking product, however it ultimately ends up just being a very expensive nightlight. Would not recommend

Expensive junk. App never wants to connect to the machine. Tapping it to turn off takes 10 tries. Can’t change the colors from the device only the app. Garbage product for the price and the app is trash
  • So SLOW

I get so frustrated with this app daily. It is incredibly slow to load your presets. I will constantly exit out and go back in to see if they appear since I get a message that I don’t have any. But overall very slow app.
  • Bluetooth Connectivity Needs Improvement

Let me preface this by saying I do love my alarm clock. However, the app rarely connects in the morning when I need to turn my alarm clock off which is very frustrating. The alarm clock is not right next to me, so this issue forces me to get up and manually turn it off. There’s bug issues that need to be addressed.
  • Great concept but annoying subscription model

I bought the clock a couple years ago and at the time the content library with an additional subscription was very optional. Now, I can’t even turn my clock on from the app unless I have a subscription to the content library. Really? Hundred bucks for the hardware and I can’t even turn on the clock from the app? I don’t need all the content but I’m stuck dealing with it because it was an expensive clock. Really frustrating to just eek out more subscriptions from existing customers.
