  • Doesn’t work for me

I’m still getting 50-60 spam calls a week (yes 50-60, this week was 53). I wish there was a whitelist option where it would only allow calls from my contacts (this is an easy option on android). I paid for the yearly subscription on this and wish I didn’t. This may stop normal robocalls but if you get tons of phone spam calls, it won’t put a dent in it

Went from $20 to $70 without a valid reason. This is a fairly good app but I will cancel before renew because that is ridiculously greedy. What a load of corporate pirates.
  • Not worth the price hike.

Just canceled my subscription because of the new price hike from $25/year to $75/year. Pretty outrageous. No thanks.
  • Finally an Ap that really works!

Works great most of the time. Very unhappy with the huge subscription increase from $24.99 per year to $74.99 per year. Worst business decision this company has ever made. I’ve been a long time loyal customer that just canceled due to this increase. More than double annual increase. You’ll lose most of your customers with this decision and I’ll be surprised if you’re still in business in a year. Too much competition to raise at this ridiculous rate.
  • $25 > $80

Been a subscriber for over 5 years. Won’t be renewing. That yearly price increase is simply unacceptable. Bye bye robokiller.
  • $50 increase!?

I’ve been subscribed to this service for years but I just got an email saying they’re increasing the yearly cost from $29.99 to $79.99! That is an insane jump in price. Why so high? Unsubscribing.
  • Not worth a $50 increase!!

Just informed of the new (almost tripled) subscription price (what the heck?) so I guess that’s all the incentive I need to try the new voicemail screening option on my phone. If they lower the price maybe I’ll reconsider, or check out other options. Previous review: It’s a little confusing to set up, but the app guides you through the process pretty well. However, callers (especially family members calling from unknown numbers) have expressed surprise that my cell phone is answered by a voice that isn’t mine. I would love to be able to record my own voice greeting for call screening. That said, I wonder how (or if) Robokiller will adapt with the new live voicemail screening in iOS 17 which I’ve been looking forward to trying. The Robokiller web site claims a personalized experience but then how about letting us personalize the screening message with our own voice?
  • Personal data protection not working

Subscribed to data protection based from the good review everywhere, but the data protection is basically useless. My personal data point: First time, told me >600 exposures. >200 exposure removed after a couple weeks. 2 exposures need manual action, of which I removed one following the instruction but could not remove the other. 420 exposures permanently “in progress”. Fast forward 3 months later, second scan, and SURPRISE! “420 new exposures” it just forgets it was useless with these exposures for 3 months and tells me it will handle the same exposures in the next 3 months? Overall, great concept, good execution with scam calls, okay execution with texts (sometimes treating banking alerts as spam so I turn it off), poor execution with data protection. If you really want to try it out. I would recommend only subscribe to the minimum package. The “vip” features are not good, at least for now.

Or at least a response from customer service after 10+ emails. WARNING: if you use your phone for work, this will ruin your day and mangle your lines of communication with calls from vendors with number variations. More often than not, T-mobile blocks the calls, but those that aren't coed always get through RoboKiller. Sometimes they even activate a second instantaneous call from RobiKiller. Not what I was hoping for at all. It might block a call or two, but that is all that I have evidence of, so far. More frustration and a $35+ annual charge for little to no help.
  • What a jump in the renewal price!

I’ve been happy with the service the past couple years, but REALLY, renewal of the Subscription going from $39.99 to $89.99!!! Outrageous!!! I’ll be shopping around for another Robo source.
